a laundry question!

Maybe someone here can help...I use spray-on anti-persperant, and sometimes ater washing my work shirts, I find that the stuff has left the underarms of the shirts hard as a rock, and nothing I have tried has done a thing to soften them back up! Now, I don't use a lot of the stuff, it just seems to happen when I sweat a lot...any ideas? Thanks!! Joe

NOTHING removes that rock-hard stuff. Believe me, I've tried with my DH's undershirts. Switch to a roll-on or solid deodorant/anti- perspirant.

Switch to the natural salt deoderant available at health food stores. No smell, no stickiness, no residue. The salt stick lasts forever, so you save money, too.

Rose-doesn't that salt stick kinda burn when you are sweating on a hot day? I guess I've never heard of them-do they work good? And, how about the price? Thanks!

Joe, I use a 'stick' type and have the same problem on only some shirts. I don't know why it's some and not all. If you find a solution, email me. ;o)

Joe, I had that problem and did manage to get some of the stuff out, just by scrubbing by hand with a good strong detergent. I think I also soaked some of them in Biz, but it's been awhile and can't remember everything I tried. Like I said, it got out some, but they do seem to build up again pretty quickly. Good luck!
