In response to a thread about dog fencing. Some sugested the electronic fencing like you bury to keep your animals in your yard. In my openion that would keep your animal in but would not keep other peoples strays out. Any dog could come onto your place and jump on your dog. I wouldn't have one. Just my openion.

the invisably fences work,, if you have a larger dog that like to run,, and its trained ot it correctly,, but a smaller dog,, shouldnt need it. If your worried about other dogs coming in,, then a real fence seems to be in order,,or some well placed shots

We used electric fence. Keeps ours in, others out. Kind of upset the armadillo that got trapped inside somehow. LOL We picked him up and set him outside.

Well, ya'll, after a life of dealing with other people's problems and input I can tell you with confidence that those buried fence things are not good for much. Any dog, with enough incentive will blow right over one and thus is subject to danger and as mentioned above, those "fences" keep nothing out! Just my input. LQ

We used to have one of those, didn't work for the smart dogs, only worked for the slower learners, and not well all the time! Not worth the money ot the bother, put up some regular fencing or use overhead dog runs/trolleys, we have four dogs and all are on trolleys but the one "lord of his domain" German Shepard who "rules" our place. He respects his natural territories and keeps all who don't belong here away, be they four legged or two legged.
