Farm for Sale in W Va - Free Gas, Large Barn, Orchard, House

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

Hi,

We have decided to sell our 40 acre farm in central West Virginia. It's a hard thing to do, as we had hoped to be able to retire there eventually.

We've set up a small web site with lots of descriptions and photos. Please e-mail me if you have any questions.

Thanks for looking.

Oops -- I forgot to list the price.

We are asking $83,500 or bet offer.

Thanks, again,

Wow. What a beautiful place. I love my place but don't like all the development going on around me. Six years ago I could see 4 houses. Now there are 15. I am drooling....

I can't believe how cheap that is. Last year my partner at work remodeled his kitchen, master bedroom and master bath. The total cost was almost $90,000.

Will you take a check? :-)

I can see why you hate to sell it. Barn is AWESOME! The 900' elevation sure beats my 2850' Don't think you will have any problem selling. Have you considered putting it on any internet Real Estate sites?

I want to thank you for giving me hope by-the-way. I didn't think I would ever find as pretty a place as mine. Now I am planning on fixing up my place some more and moving in 5 years when my son is old enough to go to college. My next door neighbor and his wife hate me (haven't talked to me in 5 years... Oh, and it's my only brother and his wife AND only close family) and the other folks around here either are horrified because I had a horse in my front yard (true, I did) or think I'm having affairs with their husbands (not true, still looking though). So, thank you for giving me something to work for. And I hate you have to move from that lovely place.... Good Luck!
