External parasites?!!! Baby is only 24hrs old

A tiny but healthy single doe was born yesterday. When checking on her & the mom tonight I noticed her head had "numerous" small brown "bugs" crawling on it. Is this lice?!!! The hair is thinner on her head so she could have had them all over her body. These were very visible and moved around kinda fast. How could such a young baby get something like this so fast? She wasn't scratching & didn't seem to be bothered by them. (I definatly was though because I'd been cuddling & loving on her when I noticed them!) I have some Co-ral powder & checked the lable closely for an age limit.... I didn't see one so I very carefully dusted a small amount down her back & to the top of her head. Of course after doing this I got on-line and read on some of the websites that Co-ral shouldn't be used under 3months... uhh, oops... So, my questions are: What are these parasites? and Will she be okay since I applied Co-ral so young? I feel that since it was such a small amount that I applied and it wasn't on her face then she should by fine, but... would like other's opinions. :o)

Sharon, Do not use your Co-ral on her, get some kitten flea powder and use for now. And yes they are probably lice, just transfered to her from your other goats. You need to delouse them also.

A spray bottle of rubbing alcohol will kill pest on contact and evaporate allmost immediantly.

Thanks! Those are both great ideas. I agree, after much reading & closer inspection I think they are lice. I thought they were brown, but they're sorta clearish with redish/brown areas. Thank you so much!
