cleaning stains from woodstove

My porcelain enamel woodstove has some small specks stains on it. Water wont remove it. Anyone know how to get em off? Dont want to scratch it up! thanks Mark

Are they pits? If so it might be easier to cover them with stoveblacking from an old hardware.

Whenever I worry about scratching anything, I use baking soda with wet rag? Try it.

I used Softscrub. I added a little water to thin it and rubbed it in small circles. It worked great on my white stove.
