All in the family is correct.

New question: Name four T.V. showes that were spinoffs of All in the family?

-- mitch hearn (moopups@citlink.net), March 14, 2002.

I can think of Maude and the Jefferson's.

-- Candy (dontask@dot.com), March 14, 2002.

I've got two, I'll have to think about the others.

The Jeffersons, Maude,...

Oh, I can't think of the name of it, but there was one with Gloria in it I remember.

Hmmmm....Four, huh?

Maybe I'm just too YOUNG to remember all of them! :-)

Ha, Candy and I must have been typing at the same time! Great minds think alike, don't they!

-- Christine in OK (cljford@mmcable.com), March 14, 2002.

Hmmmm...I am a baby boomer and "All In The Family" was a favorite, so here goes: 1) Maude 2) The Jeffersons 3) Gloria 4) Archie's Place

I think the first two also had their own spinoffs.

Correct with the four.

New question: What critter can and does change its gender repeatily?

-- mitch hearn (moopups@citlink.net), March 14, 2002.

a worm

-- heather (h.m.metheny@att.net), March 14, 2002.

Worms are permantly both male and female at the same time; the critter I am asking about can only be one or the other.

-- mitch hearn (moopups@citlink.net), March 14, 2002.

some frog, can't remember which one though

-- steve (stevetamara@mindspring.com), March 14, 2002.

Hi Mitch, How about grouper-I remember reading that they change sex as they mature. Daryll

-- Daryll in NW FLA (twincrk@hotmail.com), March 14, 2002.

Daryll, right pond, wrong critter.~

Okay, just checked in for the answer to the spinoff stumper. Duh, I used to watch Archie's Place with my dad! Now I feel really dumb! At least I could remember the others, even if I couldn't get the name of "Gloria"! (it was so hard!)

-- Christine in OK (cljford@mmcable.com), March 14, 2002.

I musta been a real couch potato in my 20's. I couldn't give you the name of 5 current TV shows TOTAL today. The older I get, the less I watch. O'course my new wife keeps me busy....

Happy Days also had 4 spinoffs: Laverne and Shirley, Blansky's Beauties, Joanie Loves Chachi, and Mork and Mindy.

-- Karen (mountains_mama2@hotmail.com), March 14, 2002.

I have never heard of Blanski's Beauties, but its late here and the gender changing critter is the common oyster.

-- mitch hearn (moopups@citlink.net), March 14, 2002.

This may be a stupid question, but I can't think why Mork & Mindy was a Happy Days spinoff????????

(I wasn't that old then, but remember watching a little bit)

THANKS :)

-- heather (h.m.metheny@att.net), March 14, 2002.

Mork came to earth and visited Fonzi. Was one of the funniest shows!
