It depends on what Sam thinks about pain and injury now. If he has learned that it is better to treat your injuries than to make them worse by playing a game or match, then I would allow my children to play on his team. On the other hand, if he still has the mentality that he had when he was younger, then I would not my children on his team. It is one thing to want to win, and be a little competitive, but it when it comes to jeopardizing your health, that cuts the mustard.
