Forum stuff-Sorry!

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Country Families : One Thread

It has been a long two weeks, and I do apologize for somewhat losing it yesterday. I was just sitting here in front of the computer crying my head off! Cale came home from work and thought someone had died or something!!! I am just a tender-hearted weenie, I guess. but I could not stay away, so here I am again. I am just hoping we can go on as before, but better!

I do respectfully ask that you please don't use any profanity, cussing, disrespectful language, or sarcasm. Please treat others the way you would like to be treated. It is our goal to have kindness and consideration for each other. All families will have troubles, so now it is time to forgive and go on.

Dear Melissa,

I'm so sorry for everything you've had to put up with these past couple of weeks. I'm sure this will run it's course and the offending party will either move on or back off. Just remember WHY you decided to start this forum and all the really terrific people who visit here. Don't let one poor person ruin it for you. Isn't it funny how 99 good things can be undone by one bad thing.

Wishing you enough.

Hang in there. It gets hard but homesteaders are survivers, other wise we would be up town yuppies. I just got a nothice that another message board that I read has decided to close down. We can't let the dark side win. David

Good for you Melissa.

All Glory to God the Father for lifting you up and giving you the strength to carry on. Your friends will support you, and our Lord will watch over us all.

Glad you're back, and we can all share the day together.

Melissa, it is good to take a break when things start to get to you. We all need to do that at times. We all do appreciate you sooo much and I personally am so sorry you had to go through all that transpired. I am truly glad you decided to come back. Thanks.

Melissa-I can't tell you how happy I am that you are going to stay on. Wed. was a rough day for me-I had been up all night with a sick child and then Weds Morning Grandma fell and broke her leg, then my stupid car wouldn't start and the I logged on and you said you were going to quit_I almost cried! I think I would have if my dear husband hadn't walked in at that moment. Today, things are so much better the kids are back at school, Grandma had minor surgury to set her leg, but did fine and will be back today, my car is running again- it was just a loose fuse, and hopefully my quilt squares will be in the mail, AND YOU ARE BACK WITH US!!!!! oh, coolah, coolay, oh joyful day! I might even try my hand at a hiku!

-- Barb in Ky. (bjconthefarm@yahoo.com), March 15, 2002.
