What is your favorite season?

I don't care for winter much, spring is pretty good, I love Fall the best! Summer is so busy it is hard to keep up with everything. I really love the months of June and September, they are the nicest months around here I think.

There are many fun and interesting activites and things to do during all seasons, and it is hard to choose the best one!

Any season that doesn't have HIGH WINDS and ICE !!!! Can you guess what my weather is today ????

Spring and Fall are my equal favorites. Most family birthdays "fall" in those seasons. Fall signals the Thanksgiving, a brief respite from gardening and farming, and the celebration of Our Lord's birth. Spring trumpets the rebirth of the land as the trees and shrubs bloom, grass greens up, and we celebrate the Lamb of God rising from His tomb to give us redemption from our sins and Everlasting Life.

Have a wonderful day, Melissa. In His Name

Hi Everyone. It's good to be back online. My favorite season is spring. I love to listen and watch it rain. And too watch everything grow. Summer is my least favorite because I can't stand the heat. I would love for it to be 70 all year around.

My favorite, without a doubt, is spring! I love to hear the birds and watch everything come alive again. The smell of the earth waking up and, yes, I even like the smell of manure (a bit)! The farmer in my ancestory comes out and I want to dig and plant eveything.

Without a doubt, my favorite time of year is spring and my favorite month is May. Fall would be my 2nd favorite. Over the years I have observed that most people's favorite time of the year is the time they were born. I was a spring baby, my husband a fall baby. Fall is his favorite time of the year. Has anyone else noticed this?

Spring, hands down, I love spring! I get a little intoxicated this time of year-it always seems so full of possibilities!

I have always had a passion for the harvest so mine is the fall. Spring is hard work for a farmer. Summer is too busy with work and worry. Winter is boring. After living in Montana my choices were limited to winter and next winter. Maybe it is just enjoying the season my life is in --and I'm getting older now.

When I was young, I liked the fall best. Now, I just want to be warm! lol Favorite season in Colorado has got to be summer. In Texas, probably the spring.

Oh, it's spring and early summer, before it gets too hot. Bluebirds, daffodils, new baby animals, green pastures, bees buzzing, mushroom hunting in the woods, crabapples and old cherry trees with white lacy skirts.

How about the first leaf lettuce from the garden, and asparagus, and rhubarb, and the smell of lilacs drifting in the windows. The smell of newly worked garden soil is like perfume. Even taking long walks in the rain during an April shower. And the best reason of all, the day of the Resurrection of the Lord.

I love Spring the best!

I hate Fall, because it means Winter is on the way! ;(

Our winter down here is probably similar to your spring up there. Lows rarely below freezing . . . deer season is open . . . and you don't have to leave the house with a environment suit with attached a/c system. I LOVE WINTER! Spring runs a close second, trees and flowers coming back to life . . . great hiking weather . . . beautiful nights.

This is a tough one I like to see all the seasons and I thought Autum was always my favorite but reading your responses I also love spring. everything is new, the slate is wiped clean and its a very adventurous feeling to lay your plans for the next busy months before you. You have a fresh start with the garden and home keeping plans. What you do in the spring determines the next several months. I also like the Autum and that sense of a job well done and reflection on lessons learned during the season. Oh I just love them all every day brings new possibilities. Ronda

I really like all seasons. But I love winter. That is as long as we have snow and no blizzard or high winds. we live in a woods and the trees have come down in the past. So far only a few large limbs on the house. Hate ice. Summer is fine if it dosn't get past 75 0r 80 Spring and fall are also great. Oh well what can I say . I was born in a blizzard. Billie NE Oh

Mine use to be Fall and then Winter. Now that we live in a colder climate with more snow, my favorite is still Fall (love the beautiful maple leaves!!) but Spring comes in second place now - not winter. :-)
