Can't get hoistway scan to save pulse count. every time there is a power loss i have to perforn a hoistway scan. changed every conceivable board, selector guides,clc battery, and even replaced software last week and still have same problem. after performing scan, the tool shows the pulse counts but pulse counts saved = 0

to save pulse count after scan is completed you must push sel,par,0,sav the with the selector cover off the light should blink as it scans and will advance to the next floor you can check to see if your scan is saved by pressing sel,par,1,E par 2 ect there will be a clc fault if you have a ivalid table hope this helps

DMC-I

First, When you scan the Hoistway on a DMC-I. You need to start in the Pit. The switch NEEDS to be right at 1 1/2 below the lowest landing. then on INSPECTION move up the hoistway WITH-OUT STOPPING until you get to the top limit. It needs to be set at 1 1/2 inch above the top landing. Once the car has stopped and while loking at the selector board LEDS bump the car down until you see the LED on the selector blink now it will be ok to save you hoistway scan. This is way of setting you the hoistway on a DMC. Take it from me I spent plenty of time adjusting them. Good Luck

If make sure that the battery on the main board has been replaced, this needs to be done every two to three years.
