W proudly shows paw that has actually walked

Rosie's Coo-Coo Coup: We don't know what Rosie O'Donnell paid her handlers but her "I'm a lesbian and I do it for the children" PR stunt was a classic. She tied ABC up in knots, had Diane Sawyer short of weeping and put herself in line for all sorts of jumped up humanitarian awards. The dirty little secret here is that it probably won't work and those who supported her behind the scenes are getting extremely squirrely about all of it. Cal Thomas has it just about right .

Axe Him About Evil: In a speech yesterday W trotted out "Axis of evil" again, driving his critics bonkers. He knows what he's doing . If you let people calm down, then repeat your point again, very slowly, they have a tendency to get it. It may take a while longer but he'll get there.

Oprah Disconnect: Think about this while you look for bus money. Oprah told Fortune magazine that she is clueless when it comes to business. This from a woman who has amassed a one billion dollar fortune before she's fifty. Somehow this doesn't fly . Maybe Stedman did it for her? Somebody did, that's for sure.

One Out of Fifty: CNN has managed to find some guy, who says he is one of Osama's fifty siblings, to tell us the terrorist's kidneys are just fine, thank you very much. Not only that, his brother loves God and his mommy and he had nothing to do with the WTC bombing. Thanks CNN for that informative interview .And, Fox gets jerked around for putting on Celebrity Boxing?

Still Whining After All These Years: A New York female firefighter says she's getting no respect and is tired of hearing the world "firemen." Someone should tell her that's why they say the uni-sexual "firefighters." She's been one since 1983. Wouldn't you think she'd be over it by now? Either way, if our house is on fire what we want to see climbing a ladder toward us and the flames is a fireMAN.

LDotter Note: One of the bigger stories of late is the turmoil in the Catholic Church. Some people registered on this site have gotten out of line with their comments on the subject. Fair warning: If you address another poster in an unseemly manner, if you bash another person's religion - Catholic or not - If you are rude and/or obstreperous in any way - and we make the call - you will be banned from this site and have all your postings removed. Feel free to scream "censorship" all you like. We don't censor, we edit and censorship is not a dirty word when it comes to rotten language and attitudes. There is more than enough pain to go around. Let's not have more of it here.
