Today, March 19, we members of the Catholic Church family honor, in a special way, the following friends of God -- saints whose souls are now in heaven:

St. Adrian of Maestricht (Belgian, monk, martyred c. 668)
St. Alcmund (British, prince, martyred in 819)
Bl. Andrew de' Gallerani (Italian, soldier, founder an order of brothers, c. 1236)
Sts. Apollonius and Leontius (Portuguese, bishops, early martyrs)
Bl. Clement of Dunblane (Scottish, Dominican missionary, bishop, c. 1258)
St. Gemus of Moyenmoutier (French, Benedictine monk)
St. John of Pinna (Syrian, hermit, abbot in Italy for 44 years, 6th century)
St. Lactan of Freshford (Irish, abbot, healer, d. 672)
St. Landoald and Amantius, and companions (Roman, priest and deacon, missionaries to France and Belgium, c. 668)
St. Leontius of Saintes (French, bishop, d. 640)
St. Pancharius of Nicomedia (Roman, military officer, martyred in Asia Minor by beheading in 303)
Sts. Quintus, Quintilla, Quartilla, Mark, and companions (Italian ... brother, two sister, and others ... early martyrs)

If you have anything to share about these holy people, please reply now -- biographical episodes, prayers through their intercession, the fact that one is your patron saint -- whatever moves you. If you are interested in one of these saints and want to find out more about him/her, please ask. Information is sometimes available on the Internet.

All you holy men and women, saints of God, pray for us.
God bless you.
John
