Will a sohc '81 cb650 head fit on a '76 cb550 cylinders??? My plan is to use a big bore kit on the 550 and hopefully fit the 650 head.

g'day steve yes the 650 head will fit ok and you can use the 550 cam cover you will have to use 28mm carbs as well and play around with the jets not forgeting about 4 into 1s or 2 into 2s etc regards ted hayes brisbane australia.
