Flannel quilt info

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Cooking & Crafts : One Thread

I went to JoAnn fabrics today to get my material for the current quilt block exchange and the lady working showed me a free pattern they currently have for a quilt. It is made out of flannel or homespun yarn squares. They just frayed the squares and then pieced together. Looked really neat and different. I got some copies. If anyone wants one, send me your address.

If you go to the joann.com site and look in the quilt project archives it's listed as ragged homespun quilt. I marked it a couple of months ago but haven't had a chance to make it yet. Maybe if I'd stay off this darn computer I could get something done.

Terri..thank you so much for the web site..went over there and it has so much info and patterns, etc. For a quilting newbie like me..it is much appreciated.

Sher, glad you liked the site. They do have alot of interesting things on there. If you have a JoAnn's close don't foregt to sign up for their mailer-then you'll know what's coming on sale and often they'll have 50% off coupons in them.
