Uh, Ram, I'm sorry to tell you this, mate, but you are not only barking up the wrong tree, you're in the wrong forest on the wrong landmass. (Right planet, though, if you meant "Canon" instead of "Cannon.")

This forum fields questions re Canon 35-mm still cameras of manual focus "FD" vintage, available roughly from the late 1960s through the '80s. I suspect your camcorder wasn't even a twinkle in the eye of a Canon engineer when the FD cameras were going strong.
