Dr Paul Lam will be conducting the 2-day workshops in Hurstville on 29-30th June 2002. The workshop will provide all information and skill necessary to become an instructor of this program.

A recent study by Seoul national university was presented at the America College of Rheumatology annual scientific conference in November 2001. The study has shown this program to be safe and effective.

What is Tai Chi for Arthritis?

Tai Chi for Arthritis is a form of Tai Chi, specially designed by Dr. Paul Lam in conjunction with his Tai Chi associates and a team of medical experts. Based on the Sun style Tai Chi, Tai Chi for Arthritis is easy to learn, effective and safe. It increases flexibility, muscle strength, and increases heart/lung activity, aligns posture, improves balance, and integrates the mind and body. Scientific studies conducted by Seoul National University in 2001 and the Arthritis Foundation of NSW in 2001 have shown this program to be safe and effective. About Dr Paul Lam

Dr. Lam, an Australian medical doctor and Tai Chi Gold Medal Winner, took up Tai Chi 26 years ago to reduce the impact of arthritis on his life. He has gained good control of his arthritis and has become very proficient in Tai Chi over the years. Dr. Lam has taught many people, written books and produced videos about Tai Chi. His instructor's course has been in high demand at many Arthritis Foundations.
