Audio 1-2 secs faster than videogreenspun.com : LUSENET : Video CD : One Thread |
The original divx file I have has good audio/video synch. When I tried to convert to mpeg, I had a VBR audio stream problem detected. I decompressed the audio to wav file and recompressed to constant bitrate and saved new avi( Using Virtualdub). This has caused a 1-2 sec synch problem with audio.( audio is 1-2 sec faster than video)If I just use the wav file and video file and just encode using TMPEG I still get this synch problem.
How can I cut a sec out of the video file to match up the audio??

Excellent question :Frame rate diolation, this is when your audio observer is moving at a constant rate close to the speed of C (eg. 30 fps). Yet the closer the video component (vt) moves to the speed C the relative difference is less. Therefore, if C defines the basis of C/T diolation of C/T, will occur if VT = AT or C=C OFCOURSE HAHAHAHA! So VT might be 29 fps? or even 25 fps?

Yes, Einstien, excellent question...but not much of an answer to non- genius like me. Solved the problem though... Used virtualdub interleaving tool, and fixed synch problem.

just a note..i see you fixed it in v-dub(which is what i would do too)..but....if you want you can also fix it with tmpg..under "source range" in the advanced tab under "settings"...if you have a newer version then the source range tool is under the "audio" tab under "settings"
