Have any of you heard of snippet quilts...I saw it on a tv program and wondered if any of you had tried it? It looks fun, fast and some of the designs are beautiful...I might experience on a wall hanging quilt.

I've heard of it but haven't gotten around to trying it yet. I'm with you on the designs, a lot that I've seen are really nice.

What is a snippet quilt? I think I know but I'm not sure- unfortantly, I don't get tv so I'm not up on some of the newer techniques-is it where you save little bits of fabric and sew them onto a foundation piece? I wonder where you could get some of the designs/patterns?

I believe it is where you use fusible web and then snip off bits of fabric to create a picture on a foundation piece of fabric and then quilt it. That is how I understand to be anyway.
