Following this man called Jesus Christ has turned my life around completely. After starin into the jaws of death after skirtin around it for years, it becomes really real when you suddenly realize that it is most assuredly more than just chance to be in this position. He didn't put me there--I put me there. I also had nobody else to blame or "hang it onto" for that horrible position. It was I and ONLY I-so "I" was the one to face the judgment for my actions. I'd lived like a heathen for years even tho I was saved---the world had other ideas about my salvation. I never gave it up, always believed and would actually continue on in prayer for years. I just didn't live it llike I should've.

Then one day He got my attention! I knew things were not quite right with my body. Exertion of moderate intensity brought on a whole lot of something I wanted nothin to do with. It was too late for that now! "Lord if this cup would pass from me -but not my will"! It didn't pass! All those years past saw to that. April 22, 97, ST. Johns Hospital in Springfield, IL. Dye test [catherization] and when I kinda was aware later on the doc came in. Tomorrow we open you up and do graft. I told'm "ok I rekon".

A week later I came home. Life ain't been the same since. I finally realized that I wasn't made of iron, age and bad decisions had caught up with me at last. I decided to live for Him and tell everybody I knew, about Him. Not long after this ordeal I had the "honor"? of lookin into hell for a short time. I became even more determined to share the Gospel with anybody that would listen. Then the internet came along. Another avenue provided by Almighty God to help me spread His word. I've been tellin folks about Him every since. satan is a scum, a low down dirty dirtbag, who has constantly tried to kill me to shut me up. he has failed at every attempt. he is so stupid he don't know I have Gods Angels lookin out for my family and myself. I'm not pattin myself on the back because I'm no better than anybody else. When I looked in there and saw folks that probably wouldn't have been there if I had done my job of witnessing to the lost. They are in there for eternity because of their rejection of Jesus Christ whether intentional or not. Nothing is changed and nothing will for them.

Brother Hoot, I do believe you are right. I know that no man knows the hour that He will return, but one sure can see the season, and I do believe that we're livin right at the back edge of it. Wouldn't surprise me none if'n he didn't make it back before I celebrate another birthday!! Kind of a bitter-sweet thought. Most of my friends and family are saved, but not all. It is my prayer that ALL would come to the cross before it is too late. I would like to see a lot of vacancies in hell!!!
