Why we live in the country

While adding to my daughter's web page I came across this picture of her tootsies last summer. I always want her to be able to walk barefoot in the grass!

Thank you for sharing this delightful photo!!!

After dealing with politicians all day, it was wonderful to come home to my home office on my little farm and pull up this precious photo!

This is exactly the reason why my boys want the chickens to have their own yard:o) We had to move out of Texas in order to enjoy barefeet outside. Fire ants and burr grass were not kind to little feet!

This is so cute. Reminds me of Lindsey when she was little. Her B- day is in Oct, so by early summer after she was born she was really crawling around. However when we put her down in the grass, she hated it!! She would use just her fingertips, and the very tips of her toes, and gingerly crawl around like that!! It was so funny. She soon learned to walk, I think becasue she did not like to touch the grass. She now can't stand to touch cotton, and socks drive her crazy, she is conastantly rearranging the toe!!!
