The meaning of: "TERRORISM"

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Gore 2004 : One Thread

What is the big problem with defining the words “terrorism” and “terrorist”? WEBSTER defines it : n(1795): the systematic use of terror esp. as a means of coercion.

Terrorism is: “the spreading of terror”

* Desperate oppressed seekers of systematic suicidal revenge are terrorists.

* Military tank and troops systematically shooting at children and civilians is terrorism.

* Military Planes systematically bombing cities are highly equipped terrorism.

* Officials regretting collateral damage but ordering more bombing are like Arafat, Bush, and Sharon - terrorists.

* Police beating peaceful demonstrators in Seattle, Genoa, Washington are terrorists.

* The Ku Klux Klan is a terrorist organization systematically terrorizing African Americans to coerce their submission to injustice.

* Ashcroft inprisoning people without due process to coerce confessions is a terrorist.

* Justices who betray the constitution are terrorists trying to coerce people into submission to illegitimate authority.

So let’s stop the double talk and wake up to the fact that only JUSTICE, and TRUTH, and FAIR ELECTIONS without corporate bribery can save the USA and the world from the rising monster of a perennial phony war for the profit of 1% of humanity.

FORGET PARTY LINES. VOTE AS A SANE LOYAL AMERICAN. - VOTE TO PROTECT THE CONSTITUTION. REPEAL THE “patriot?” TRAITORS ACT. VOTE OUT ALL WHO HAVE BETRAYED OUR DEMOCRACY.

SAVE THE LAND OF THE FREE HOME OF THE BRAVE FROM BECOMING “Lanf of the slaves, home of the dumb cowards”

And Brilliantly Stated

I said nothing about compliments or commendations. This was clear as crystal, and guess what? It didn't make a personal attack at anyone due to race, creed, national origins or political affiliations. Thank You moderator. I know your busy, but it is still a pleasure to hear from you.
