I have always wondered if taxation without representation would have been cheaper? --(Unknown)

The Founding Fathers found out the hard way that it was. I have read that their taxes tripled.

So here is one for you. If Public Servants is indeed the job title ? Than why pay them ? Servants and Slaves work for FREE !!! Don't They ? People with true dedication for the common good of the people either work for free or they have questionable motives.

Well as it stands today with this fee and that tax and etc. we pay almost 55% of our income in some form of taxation. And people thank the government every year between January and June for giving them their own money back by way of tax returns. Go figure!

Would we rather have
HIGHER taxes WITH representation??
or LOWER taxes WITHOUT representation??
