donut recipe

Hi

I bought a donut machine similar to one I saw in use at a crafts show. In case you're familiar with it the name on it is The Donut Man. It has a funnel-like devise that drops a batter of similar consistency to pancake batter into the hot oil for frying. I plan to resell the machine but want to try it out to be sure it works OK first. Also, it would probably sell better with a recipe included. Does anyone have a recipe for the batter?

Thanks

You will find donut recipes at: http://www.countrylife.net Do a search in the "Recipe Bin". Perhaps one will be just what you need.

Thanks Marie

I tried that but all I found was roll out dough type. This machine drops a batter (about like pancake batter) into a tray of oil for cooking. I feel the dough in the regular recipes probably wouldn't rise and work correctly if thinned down to a batter consistency; what do you think? I'm not an expert cook by ANY means!! Lew

I don't have the answer, however I want to know how much your selling your machine for? I'm looking for a donut machine...

Thanks
