Recently I purchased an Aristo-Craft Seaboard System and Caboose set. The Locomotive is a Seaboard System U-25B. I know SBD never had long steel cabooses like the one I ordered, and I am sure they never had marker lights on each side with 3 different lenses.

So I know the caboose never actually existed, but what about the locomotive? I have seen a few photos of U-25B's in Family Lines paint, but never in Seaboard System colors.

Did SBD ever repaint these type locomotives? If they did, what were there numbers?

Just wondering! Thanks in advance to all who may help.

They were numbered in the 1600 series,joe but did not make it to Seaboard System they were gone by 1983.

They were exL&N in the1600 series,I think.
