Alpine Color/Pattern designation?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Dairygoats : One Thread

I totally screwed up and failed to put the description of one of my does on the paperwork, aduh...at least I did it properly on one. Anyway I can't figure out what to classify her as. She looks Alpine and is a Togg/Alp mix. She has white front quarters, a brown dorsal stripe and dark brown "saddle". She also has dark brown on her face but has Togg facial markings. She is a nice looking doe, although she is a brat! The dorsal stripe breaks up the Cou Clair, right? I know you Alpine afficionados will tell me!!! Thanks folks!

Two-tone Chamoisee. Cou Clair would be black in the hindquarters.

Thanks ladies! Guess i need to get to a goat show. The descriptions I have read didn't seem to match that for this girl.

And this one. I have never been able to keep these straight! I know in my daughters LaMancha's we had several that we would put, "correct Togg colored, or correct Togg markings" in the discription. Vicki
