I'm trying to understand what kind of goverment funding and regulation has been established to address domestic violence issues? I'm in the state of Ohio and working with a hospital that is struggling to provide domestic violence services to it's patients through a volunteer program, is there any federal or state responsibility here to provide financial support and also to regulate domestic violence education programs for employees, etc.?

Hello. Although I can't site specific organizations to you right now, I know when i went to court for domestic violence, They handed me a "Victims Rights" handbook and told me to read it over thoughly. Perhaps you should stop by your local court house and ask one of their personel. Unfortunatly, as you seem to already know, this is a GREAT problem.. Much applause for your efforts.. Good Luck!!
