Baby Food for Baby Calf

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

In sorting through the first truckload for the salvage grocery store I am opening I sorted out any baby food. Then by expiration date as it is illegal to sell any beyond that date. Ended up with about half a plastic shopping bag of out-of-date bottles. Was going to throw them away until I realized I am feeding a baby - a bottle calf. I have been mixing a jar in with each 1/2 gallon nipple bottle. Guess what, baby calves don't like strained peas or spinach either!

Gee Ken, I would think those strained peas and spinach would be great additions to the soup stock you make. Less work than all that chopping, dicing and freezing. :>) Kate
