Continuing my freeloading ways...

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Country Families : One Thread

After an entire week (well, almost) of feeding myself I'm back on the freeloading wagon again. A week ago tonight I was invited to a hog roast and it was fantastic. The next night the same couple had me over to their home for dinner to thank me for getting them a home PC up and going to use with their video surveillance system at their business. It was home made beef stew and was excellent. Since then, however, it's all been on me until tonight.

I'm leaving here to go to a cookout that couldn't have come on a nicer day. It's in the low seventies and sunny. ;o) Tomorrow I'm being taken to Chicago for the weekend! I know this is going to come to an end but it's sure fun while it lasts. I have no idea what I'm going to do there for a lot of the time. I found the Cubs are on the road this weekend :-( but may go to see the Sox host the Orioles.

Any other ideas on things to do/places to see or eat would be appreciated. ;o)

You could always offer yourself up as a restaurant critic for your local paper...now THAT's a dream job.....

You can always come down to Indy on May 22nd to the grand opening of the museum, or on the 14th for the shakedown cruise. There will be free food, consisting of Hotdogs and chips. I'll get you an invitation if you want. I will be working at the event. But it will give you a free look at the museum before everyone else gets to see it. On the 22nd you can get in free if you bring a can good. Hey more free stuff.
