rumor has it that Alexander,went into jerusalem, and that one of the high priests took him int the temple,and there the priest had Alexander read from a scroll,in which Daniel had written. after reading this alexander and his troops left Jerusalem,and no one was harmed. Is there any history facts to back up this story, pleas reply

When considering rumors, consider the source. Where did you hear this rumor? From a source that wanted to establish the 'truth' of the Jewish and/or Christian faith? If so, and if there is no other source to verify it, discount it by about 98%.

This is elementary historical technique. Maybe we'll make a historian of you, yet.
