Speaking of commercials

Anybody seen the commercial for Procrit with the old man talking about setting up a big boy bed for his grandson, yada, yada, yada?

If you listen closely to the words it says "Procrit is proven unsafe".

Is that a mistake or were they required to say that?

Maybe you heard it wrong. Their web site has this to say:

PROCRIT has a proven safety track record. Any adverse experiences associated with PROCRIT are believed to be related to the disease process, not to therapy with PROCRIT. In cancer trials, only diarrhea and edema occurred more often with PROCRIT therapy than placebo.

Thanks for the info. It sure sounds different on the commercial. If you happen to see it, listen closely and see what you think.

Rather narrow audience plus Procrit ain't a simple deal. Surprised they're spending on ads.

"narrow audience"???

By the way, I heard the ad tonight. The wording is hard to make out, but I believe what they're saying is:

Procrit is proven and safe, not proven unsafe. Makes more sense that way.

As usual, 'what@i.think' has put things into perspective. The only thing ‘unsafe’ here, is the critical processing results from the mind of the one who started this thread.

With proper goading, I’m told that ‘Procrit’ will decode the messages that Charlie heard from the White Album.

You seem exceptionally angry the last few days "Send". You've got to learn to quit beating your little pecker so sore that you can't even spank it anymore. You always need to keep that ready for action so that you won't have to take out your frustration on other people.

Angry? Sarcastic would be more like it.

And your problem is???
