Lets Celebrate!!!

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Dairygoats : One Thread

I haven't owned goats for very long, and this week one of my favorites was pretty sick with symptoms of either Listeriosis or Polio. Thanks to people who give time for others when needed- I was able to learn how to treat these 2 illnesses and save my Lollipop! So....YEAH!! HOORAY!! It's nice to be able to come to the forum and just say "hey" things are going ok and today was a good day. My goat has recovered so much that she butted my husband when he tried to give her Penicillin. She actually wanted to go for a walk this evening and just about dragged my hubby down the road. I think shes going to be OK!! I feel blessed!!

Kathy,

Great to hear the good news! We like to hear about recoveries when things looked bleak, and yes, it's good to have a forum where you don't have to be "serious" all the time. A little chat and good news never hurt anyone;-)

Thanks everyone for understanding how I was feeling. Some people own animals and never feel anything for them at all. I've always loved mine and although they aren't "people" they do become "family"!! I'm happy that I found other "goat" people!!
