How many cents per word do you pay? What do you want to hear about? Your not really asking for free stuff are you? If you are asking for free stuff, ask your readers, not us.

Good evening:

I am looking for articles, reports, essays, etc...that have already been written regarding homesteading, survival (wilderness, uban), self sufficiency, etc..

You may get a good idea of what I am referring to if you visit the site: SurvivalForum.com

There are some writers already contributing to the site...everything is done on a voluntary basis for exposure purposes. Our goal is to provide the users with informaiton located in one area (instead of browsing many sites to collect the info) and at the same time, provide the avenue for others to submit there research, etc...for additional exposure.

Depending on the writing, I would either post it in the Special Sections - Featured Articles or preferrably PDF the document and post it in the download sections.

Let me know if you need additional information....I hope I answered your questions.

Kind regards,

Franklin

Forgive him. It's just his way

I agree with Mitch. Franklin will make money off it. I don't have such a big ego that I would do it for free just for the exposure.

Good evening:

Make money? That is a joke my friend. How can I make money on articles? You have to be kidding.

I don't sell access to articles or access to the site...all information posted on the site is free for anyone and everyone to read.

I pay money out of my pocket to manage the site. There is NO money...The banners you see on the site have been placed on the site at no cost to help send traffic to other sites.

Anyway, there are contributors who understand my inquiry for articles...if you do not have a desire to share information that you may have written for the benefit of others, that is fine and that is certainly within your right to do so...(that is why copyrights exist)

I am not a taker but a giver...I am simply trying to put two parties together...

You the writer and the user as the reader. With that said, I humbly respect your desire not to contribute or share articles you may have written.

My goal with SurvivalForum is not to make money and that is very clear with the Site set-up (that is, if you actually went and took a look at it.) My goal is simply to assemble plenty of information, news and resources in one location so the average person doesn't have to spend hours on the Internet as I do visiting countless Sites.

Kind regards

Franklin

I thought your site was interesting and informative. I hope you are able to get some interesting articles to post. You might want to put the information you put on the 2nd post in your 1st one from now on! That way people would not misunderstand. I was impressed by your patience, as I have seen you deal with this same issue on other forums as well.

Franklin, You can sell advertising. To entice visitors a site needs a wide variety of information. If a site gets lots of visitors it becomes attractive to investors. Simple economics.

Two parts to this message:

One for Gayle and one for Melissa:

Gayle: SurvivalForum.com does not exist for economic reasons...otherwise, I would agree with you. I am a business development, sales, marketing and Internet consultant (with a 10 plus year successful track record.)

SurvivalForum.com serves purposes other than financial gain. I do just fine without turning it into a "for profit" site.

Take care and have a nice evening.

Melissa:

You are very kind and I appreciate your suggestion...

I am somewhat surprised people are responding this way...I can see if I was profiting from the articles...but that is the furthest from the truth :)

Anyway, I will take heed to your suggestion.

I hope all is well and thank you for writing me.

Kind regards

Franklin

Franklin, I just reread my posts and they seemed to be rudely worded. I want to publicly apologize for that. I am usually in a hurry when I am on the computer and don't always consider the fact that others might not stress the words in the same way I do. You have been VERY civil. Please accept my apology I was under the impression that you were doing this for profit. I did (finally) go to the site and it is very nice, with alot of potential. Best of Luck, Gayle

Hello Gayle...

Thank you for your kind email and your positive words regarding the Web site...

I understand the sarcism, etc.. that one can feel. There is a lot of riff raff on the Net and people that want something for nothing and take advantage of others.

However, there are a FEW people out there that don't operate like that...

PEACE be unto you.

Sincerely,

Franklin Frith
