Update on Mae!greenspun.com : LUSENET : Dairygoats : One Thread
Hi all Here's an udpate on Mae. I had her to the vet and her meds are finished. She's still coughing a little but she's drinking her milk like a champ and she's eating well. I put her out for awhile today because we've had her in the basement getting her strength up and she kicked up her heels and butted up against me and stood on her back legs playing with me for awhile. I can't tell you -- but I am sure you all know what it feels like to nurse this little animal back to health after being on death's doorstep. I was sure I was going to lose her. But she's doing wonderful and I have alot of you and hundreds of sites for goats to thank.

That is such wonderful news Wendy! She will just get healthier now that she is outside in the fresh air! They put on more hair, and just love the sunshine! vicki

Mom used to describe an animal as being "fiesty" when they were healthy. Seems the qualification has been met.
