I do agree with the general concept that we can learn [actually, "re-learn"] some very important things that our modern "developed" culture has forgotten or discarded.
But I can't see evidence that such is the case in the article to which you referred us. The article was so short and general that I don't really know if the Indian government's policy really is a good one. It was found acceptable to a committee of bishops and praised by a priest-spokesman? Sorry, but I've been around too long to consider that kind of meager evidence convincing. Some committees are mighty poor.

Can you give us something with more meat on it? If you can present the details of the government's policy, we may be able to see if it contains anything contrary to the Church's moral code or doctrine.
