Can you help me find info. on John P. Hill (1936-1988) ???? I need some background of his life, where he grew up, schools attended, and his work too.

For his life, you might check old issues of the American Psychological Association Directories, which provide details of education. If you search for his name using Google, you'll find that his papers are at the Archives for the History of American Psychology at the University of Akron
