Thanks, Aimless! As you can guess i have not time to answer questions, this is supposed to be a community owned and driven forum.

I liked your jokes but please try to stick to facts if possible. Otherwise we share the bad karma for confusing poor kids.

Alexander could serve as a great role model for many in this petty world.

Helen, I would not say that Alexander is a hero of mine. I have been interested in the history of the ancient world for over forty years and Alexander is one of the more important figures in that history. I have not had the time or interest to keep this forum tidy of late and make sure every question has an answer, no matter how inane the quetion might be.

Please feel free to take over that role. You seem to have a decent grasp of Alexander's life and how it fits into the larger history of that time. Just remember his horse's name was Bucephalos and you can skate along most of the time, since that is the most frequently asked question by a large margin.
