what was cleopatra's childhood like?

I understand all of the facts on her life and death. I only found information starting when she became a queen, but i read she was very influential even when she was young. The most I know is that she witnessed her caretaker's death and she was fluent in up to nine languages. can you tell me a little (or anything at all) about her childhood?

She frequently visited a palace library where she read Homer's poems. At the young age of twelve she went to Rome with her father to convince the Romans to protect Egygpt from her older sister trying to take over. It it thought that she had a pet leoperd.

Anyone interested in Cleopatra's childhood, should read Kleopatra by Karen Essex. She has done a wonderful job chronically her childhood and her various relationships. She was quite the amazing child. She was able to speak several languages and was verse in the history of many cultures.
