Hi Cathy, I just dropped in and read your earthquake post. I think the area in Quebec you may have been talking about is called the Charlevoix Seismic Zone. There are frequent quakes there. For a listing of Canadian quakes for the last month go to:

Hope this helps for the future. I feel lots of shakes here. We are apparently close to a fault line that runs between Sault Ste. Marie and Sudbury, and just north of Manitoulin Island which has three converging faults. Don't let Canada fool ya'. We've got fault lines, just not very well investigated. We also have a lot of blasting (mines) that shows up on the list as well.
