one of my hens has a sore foot, she has a slight limp and has swelling between the toes. She is not of her food and seems o.k other wise

It's called bumblefoot and it's caused by some sort of injury to the foot. Usually, it will go away on it's own, but occassionally needs to be cleaned out and medicated. A chicken's feet tend to develop cellular swelling instead of pus-filled injury. She may always tend to have a swollen foot, but as long as she's doing ok otherwise, don't worry about it.
