Hi all,

Can anyone shed any light on the merits (or otherwise!) of these Beseler lenses - in particular the 50mm f2.8, 75mm f4.5 and 135mm f5.6? Were they made for Beseler by another manufacturer, and how do they compare with the 'mainstream' Componons/Rodagons etc.?

Answers

I had a 50/2.8 for a couple of years and found it to be quite sharp. I replaced it with the current model 50/2.8 El-Nikkor which , I think, is very slightly sharper (but this might be wishful thinking--I didn't make a direct comparison). FWIW, the person who sold me the Color Pro told me they were made by Fuji.
