Onboard sound

I'm in the proccess of switching from Onboard {Keller} to Atlas DCC and was wondering if the sound units from Onboard can be made to operate with Atlas Commander?

Possibly. However, Keller is gone, any documentation may not be adequate, and an electrical whiz would probably have to tinker with the unit to try to make it work. Letting the smoke out is possible!

I had a Keller sound system at one time. I don't think it sounds anywhere near as good as what is available today and sold it many years ago.

It's your system and if you can find a friend who is electrically wise enough to figure it out for you, go for it. However, before you do, I suggest you listen to something like the Soundtraxx product and decide if you still want to use the Keller system. Things have improved A LOT since the Keller system came out. Soundtraxx has sound samples on their website. I'm sure the other sound manufacturers do, too.

If you are in the process of switching do you have any wiring diagrams/ chip nmumbers for the Keller block control pc board? I got 5 at an estate sale. I can figure out some of the wiring from the printing on the pc board and of course I have no way of knowing chip numbers. There are 3 configurations of same board. This is a bidirectional block controler. The printing on backside says "1983" Can you help.
