Companion Planting

I found the book I was thinking of reccommending to everyone regarding companion planting. It's old, and I found it at Half Price books, but I bet it can be had through Amazon or Abe Books. It is called "Secrets of Companion Planting for Successful Gardening" by Louise Riotte. It's excellent!

Thanks for the name of that book Doreen. I went ahead and planted my onions with my strawberries. I cannot wait to see if they turn out okay..they are in raised beds. The strawberries have really taken off and the onions are just now trying to peek through. Now .. if the storms coming through tonight just leave everything standing!!

Hey Sher, the only stuff that you really don't want to plant onions with are beans. They are supposed to be very beneficial for strawberries. I'd be interested how it works out for you. This book is really quite good, I misplaced it when my bookshelf broke and it wasn't with my other gardening books, or I would have reccommended it to you on your first question here. Take care!
