I can't tell you anything about Uvalda except it was about half way between Vidalia and Hazlehurst on one of the links constructed by the G&F to connect the seven different railroads it bought in 1906. The railroads were operated collectively as the Georgia & Florida Railway System. The connections were completed in 1910.

I can tell you some of the history of the G&F which I am sending as an attachment to an e-mail due to its length.
