I'm a bit young to really know the original one too well, but I've seen a few of the old episodes.

The likeness was good, I thought they got the characters and the bickering spot on, but the story and some of the dialogue was a bit weak. Auf Weidersehen Pet was better IMO.

I missed it I'm afraid. I was making the re-remake. Petula played the part of Thelma :-)

But that reminds me. "Ta-ta Pet" is on in a couple of mins.

Disappointing...didn't think it worked at all. But that's comparing it to the original. On the other hand, Auf Wiedersehen Pet just gets better and better...another great episode tonight.

too much of an inpersonation rather than adding to the original, they have the personalities to do that well, the canned laughter grated very badly

not as good as Auf Weidersehen Pet, I reckon they looked to young to carry it off, but I still enjoyed it.
