Did you know that St. Francis of Assisi revered the Church so much that when someone told him of a priest living openly with a woman and asked him if that meant the Mass was polluted, Francis went to the priest, knelt before him, and kissed his hands? Francis said, “all I need to know is that those hands held God”[in the Eucharist]. Instantly the priest was converted, and lived a holy life!

Just an awsome story!

It is also said that one of St. Francis' friends was beaten and robbed of his shirt. St. Francis commanded his friend to run after the theif and give him his shoes!

The life of this man is so touching. I would recommend reading more about him.

Francis to my knowledge is the most known Saint of all times. There has to be a reason for that indeed.
