I just thought that this was an interesting topic. Angels are Saints, and Saints can be Angels (messangers of God). But Saints are not Angels (as in Angelic beings). There is some cool info on this Q and A page. I haven't read the whole thing (so I cant say for sure that all the ideas are pure Cathlolic), but I wanted to post it before I forget. Take a look.
