I am doing an assignment where I have to find five artists from five different art movements from the Renaissance onwards. My theme is women in domestic and maternal situations. I am having trouble finding artists who paint this subject matter outside the Impressionists and Vermeer and Millet in the 16th century. I have to include one artist that uses contemporary art practises. Can anyone help me?
