Well, it's official I guess. Southeastern Indiana has gotten more rain this spring than in the last 107 years.

We have had so much rain (central Illinois) that I couldn't get my garden going so I resorted to buying full grown plants from Walmart. It rained buckets and buckets yesterday and hailed on top of that. Everywhere you go it's squish, squish, squish...more rain coming today and tomorrow. Looks like an ark may be in order soon...

I believe it! We have had rain at leat 22 days this month, and probably more!!! We get one nice day then it rains, and rain is in the forecast for the next 4 days...until Saturday.

Those of us up north are pretty damp, too, Cindy. I buried my Tahoe up to the frame last weekend in a spot I'd driven just a week before. I had to walk (slosh?) back to the barn and get the Deere and some (lots of) chain out. I still couldn't pull it out so had a friend drive in 4x4 while I pulled and still nothing. I then did something I would never recommend. I pulled the tractor forward about a yard or two then floored it in reverse and jerked the Tahoe out. "Do not try this at home."

Hey, send some over to us! Here in central Connecticut, we are still under 3 inches below average for the year, on top of last year's 6 inches under average for the year. We had a good 2 day rain two weeks ago, and a small thunderstorm this morning, but we need rain steady for a week to make up what we really need!

3 pm, and it is starting to storm here!!!!

Wow what a storm and still going on a little, more than 2 hours now. My guess is at least 2 inches in the first hour. The garden's draining. Started to go out and make more trenches but the lightning started up again. More rain predicted for the next few days. Sure wish I could send some of this whre it's needed.

Trying to get a garden going this year at the new place has been a challange w/ all the rain. Most rainfall in 103 years? I knew it'd been wet.

My friend south of here will probably lose his 1st cutting of hay. I don't know how folks are going to get hay up if this pattern continues. Yeah, I wish we could share it w/ all of you who need it.
