Jean, this is a Catholic discussion forum. I'm sure that there are other Internet sites where you can discuss secular matters related to your psychological avocation or profession.

Or is it that you suffer from projection and you need advice, from a Catholic point of view, on whether it is immoral, how you may overcome it, etc.?

IMHO it is faith-related. Emotional projection is wonderful way to make life hell for you and another person, and healing always has a spiritual component.
