He began eating solid food at the age of 7 months. He took his first step when he was 11.5 months old. Later, he learned how to speak fluent Macedonian Greek. Many years later he learned to read and write in Greek, too. About that time he learned to add, subtract and multiply. It was some time later he learned how to do long division, which he detested and always avoided in later life.

He never learned to ride a bicycle, but he did learn to ride a horse. He was a fairly good public speaker and wrote his own speeches -- except for when he spoke off the top of his head. He was good at that, too. He could recite passages from Homer's Iliad by heart.

One time he drank a whole liter of wine without stopping to take a breath, but that was one accomplishment he regretted afterward. Once was more than enough.

There were other accomplishments, too, like conquering most of the known world, but THAT list could go on for a long time and I am getting tired. I'll stop here.
